EXCERPTS FROM TAPES, FOR STUDY, PRACTICE, AND MEDITATION

    SUNDAY, AUGUST 6 - at THE INN OF CHICAGO - 11:00 A.M.

JOEL S. GOLDSMITH: THE 1961 MAUI WORK

"I Speaks Unto Me,’" Tape 4, Side 1

In quietness and in confidence shall thou realize that "I in the midst of thee am mighty." In quietness and in confidence shall thou realize,
"Be not afraid," ... "they have only the arm of flesh," carnal weapons. "I in the midst of thee am mighty," and "I will never leave thee nor forsake
thee;" only, be not afraid. Yes, it goes a step further, and it reveals that I, also, the I that is speaking to me, is the I of that army that is
marching against me. The I that is my abiding place, my dwelling place, is the I of your being, you my friends, or you my foes; and I dwell in you,
and I dwell in them. As I dwell in thee, so do I dwell in them, so do I dwell in all. In meeting friend and in meeting foe, you are meeting Me!
Recognize Me in the midst of you, and then recognize me in the midst of your friends, and recognize Me in the midst of your foes. Recognize
that there is but one Divine Selfhood, one Father of us all; and you will soon see that the only enemies you ever had consisted of your own
belief in a selfhood separate and apart from Me. Even if you recognized Me as your selfhood, you still thought of others as having some other
selfhood than me. ... I am your meat and your wine and your water, but I am this to all men.

For Meditation: "Men, judging by human standards, complain that prayer is not answered. To benefit by prayer, it is necessary to give up all
personal concepts of good. Do not try to fit answered prayer into the mold of human desire.." - Joel, Wisdom #34.

VIRGINIA STEPHENSON: THE 2004 PHOENIX CLASS

"Incorruptible Body," Tape 1, Side 2 (No. 04340)

The structural sense of body is a belief. It’s a way of seeing, the way the senses construct the appearance; and this is a non-structural
universe, this is a spiritual universe. This is becoming more apparent to us, and such pictures as this movie What the Bleep Do We know? tells
us a lot about that from the standpoint of quantum physics. It gave a wonderful example, in this movie, of water, the form of water; and when
the monk meditated, the water became beautiful, beautiful mandalas, like ice crystals, beautiful shapes. But when there was anger, the water
was like a raging sea, with little red edges; and our body is 98% water, and a few little minerals. Scientists say the minerals would fit on the top
of a pin-head, that our body is made out of. This is scientifically true. So, you see that the carnal mind is projecting a structural picture of
humanity and of creation, and that structure is built upon the belief in good and evil, fear and desire. When we are aware of that, and we can
identify with the I that was never born and never dies, that I that is our Christhood, and we can rest in that inner peace, if we are 98% water,
think of the harmony that is established in our bodies when we meditate, and the beauty and the order of it. So, you see how indoctrinated
mankind is in materialism, the material sense of structure. [For example] There is no structure to a tree: it’s almost completely carbon dioxide
and water, and those elements are invisible; but our senses interpret that tree as structural.

What does this mean to us? It means that we have to correct our vision, our seeing, and when we look out at the world, it’s like we had
to adjust binoculars and true them up. "What am I looking at? Am I looking at what the ordinary individual believes that is there, or am I looking
through the lense of Spirit and seeing what God sees, and knowing what God knows, and feeling what God feels, and thereby experiencing
what God experiences. So, the change is never "out here," the change in time and space: the change is in consciousness, in our self, in our
perception of how we view the universe, how we view creation.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 8 - at UNITY ON THE NORTH SHORE - 7:30 P.M.

GENESIS, Awakening From the Dream, by Virginia Stephenson,

Chapter 8: "The Fifth Day: Infinite Abundance"

After the keystone experience of fulfillment on the fourth day is realized in our individual awareness, the discoveries of the first three
days are fulfilled in the last three days. The ideas of Soul, as revealed in the third day, are expanded in the fifth day. "Living creatures" are
brought forth; abundant expressions of life fill the earth, each containing the seed of its renewal. As the pattern discovered in the third day is
"like begets like," so the fulfillment of this in the fifth day is multiplication and abundance. The renewal and regeneration of life in unlimited,
unfolding from an infinite Source ... and it is good.
Jesus said to his disciples, "Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh the harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your
eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." [John 4:35] There is no process in creation. Only as we limit the flow of the
Trinity - Life, Truth, and love - by believing in the appearance of good and evil does creation appear to change or evolve. Consciousness unfolds
the spiritual ideas of creation individually according to the readiness of each of us to receive it. But, in reality, creation is already complete her
and now, and Consciousness unfolds as the completed spiritual Idea. God speaks, and it is done.

Infinite Life, omnipresent Love, progressively discloses spiritual ideas of abundance and mobility to us. Instead of stationary forms, such
as grass and trees, on the fifth day we now have ideas that have great movement, that can swim in the seas or fly in the open firmament of
heaven. The allusion to creatures that fly above the earth in the open firmament is often used in Scripture, meaning tha spiritual ideas of Truth
and Love fill consciousness with inspiration. "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as
eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." [Mark 4:26,27]
These spiritual impartations give us the ability to soar above the finite sense of difficulties into the rarified atmosphere of Soul. We are no
longer earthbound by the finite sense of self; we are living in the eternal Nowness of Being. As inspiration permeates our being, we experience
an awareness of the unlimited universe in which we live. Our body is no longer in bondage to a physical sense, because it no longer intrudes
into our thought. In meditation, Soul soars fetterless and free. We can close our eyes, forget our body, and be any place we want to be. We
are absent from the material sense of body and present with an infinite sense of Being.

"The spiritual Body is not structural. It is incorporeal and invisible, and yet it has form, outline, and color. This spiritual idea of Body is
omnipresent; it does not function in time or space. The infinite Being is expressing Itself infinitely, eternally, and immortally as our individual
experience, an experience that has no beginning and no ending." - Virginia Stephenson

"That is why we are on this path. Remember, the work I have in mind isn’t so much learning the letter of truth. Ultimately I hope you will see
just two points: ‘I and the Father are one [John 10:30] ... all that the Father hath is mine,’ [John 16:15] and that all there is to error is that
illusory sense that makes the tracks seem to come together or makes a white poodle where there isn’t one. Then be finished with the letter of
truth. From there on, just learn to live in spiritual consciousness and to live as spiritual consciousness." - Joel, CONSCIOUSNESS IN

JOEL S. GOLDSMITH: THE 1960 PERTH, AUSTRALIA CLOSED CLASS

"Spiritual Supply,’" Tape 2, Side 1

In the spiritual life is quite a fascinating subject; and demonstrating supply is an interesting experience. The first step that has to be
done is to impersonalize it, so that you do not think in terms of "my supply" or "your supply," but as if you are undertaking an experiment for
the benefit of the world; you wanted to prove a principle, because whatever is true about supply is true about your supply or mine. There is
no such thing as a truth about supply for me that isn’t true about supply for you, individually or collectively, or whether it concerns our
personal family finances or our business finances or church finances. In other words, in the spiritual realm we are always dealing with principles,
and when we are dealing with principles, the truth about them is equally the truth about any or every individual on the face of the globe. The
only reason why we don’t all equally demonstrate it is, of course, that we do not know the truth; and you can only demonstrate whatever of
truth you know. "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth will make you free;" but you must know it, and any truth that you do not know, you
cannot expect to demonstrate. Therefore, there is no truth about "your supply," and there is no truth about "my supply," there is no truth
about "this center’s supply," or "a churches supply:" there is only a truth about Supply, and this is universal. Once it is understood, it makes no
difference whether we have to finance our families, whether we have to finance a church, or whether we have to finance a world-wide
movement. Makes no difference, because once the principle is learned, the amount involved is of no importance. It is just as easy to
demonstrate a hundred thousand pounds and year as it is one thousand pounds a year, if you know the principle, and if there is any legitimate
need for the larger amount. Spiritually, you couldn’t demonstrate an amount that would be used for selfish purposes or wrongful purposes. You
couldn’t even demonstrate one pound, if behind the attempted demonstration is a wrong motive, a selfish motive, or a destructive one. So
then, the entire subject of supply must be approached from the standpoint of "your supply" or "mine," but what is the principle of supply.

... To begin with, supply is never visible. No one has ever seen supply. There is no such thing as a supply that can be seen. All that you
ever see about supply is the effect of supply, but never the supply itself.

... Money is not supply. The merchandise in your shop is not supply. Your supply is the Life that animates you.

For Meditation: "Santa Claus God! The reason all desire is sin is that desire is based on the concept of a giving or a withholding God. Also,
desire is based on the acceptance of something or someone or someplace other than God." Joel, Wisdom #89

For Study: I STAND ON HOLY GROUND, Chapter 8.

JOHN STEPHENSON: THE 2006 WAIKIKI CLASS

"Are There Two Worlds?," Tape 2, Side 1 (No. 0602)

Joel was asked, "Why is there sin? Why did Adam eat the apple that Eve offered?" He always responded that that’s not a question to ask,
because it is dealing with "this world." If you want to find out more about this world, there are all the branches of science. There is everything
that you can study about this world; but if you want to find out about the nature of God, that is an irrelevant question to ask, because in God,
    man has never fallen. In God, man exists in this atmosphere of I-ness. Man exists in the presence of peace; man exists inseparable from God;
and the only way that we become separated is if we start looking at our individual experience and start personalizing it. Now, we have within
us the metaphysical tools and the mystical principles to guide us away from this tendency to personalize and allow us to maintain the vision of
spiritual reality here and now. It is termed, in our Western culture, "the Christ."

Paul told us to "have that mind which was in Christ Jesus." Now what did Christ Jesus have that allowed him to function in the world but
not be of the world? What was that nature? Well first, it was an unshakable awareness, knowledge, that there is no separation between the I
that I am and God: "Thou seest me, thou seest the Father that sent me." Secondly, there was the awareness that all the appearances of "this
world" are due to judgment, and JUDGMENT IS THE ACTIVITY THAT PERSONALIZATION USES TO CREATE CONCEPTS. ... Judgement causes and
attaches us ... it is the glue that attaches us to concept; and it is those concepts that we hold personally that create our own experience, and
it is the concepts that we hold socially, world-wide, universally, that create the appearances of this world. So if we are aware of this, and have
"that mind that was in Christ Jesus, we can start seeing through the appearances: our individual judgments and the universal judgments.

"Spiritual Identity: Being Taught of God," Tape 3 Side 2 *Go to infinite-invisible.net to listen

Question: "Since my early connection with the Infinite Way, I’ve wished we had another word for the ‘Ultimate Good.’ I’ve found it confusing
to hear about ‘good and evil,’ in one breath, and then that ‘God is only good.’

Answer: "Well, it’s true! ‘Good and evil’ is a pair of opposites, and it would really be more accurate if you called it ‘better and worse’ instead
of ‘good and evil,’ because it’s relative. The good is relative, in the human state of consciousness. In this world, the good is relative to the
evil: this is better than that, but it’s never all good, without an opposite. That’s what it is: it’s better than the evil; and as that saying goes,
‘there is so much good and so much evil in all of us.’ Well, on the human level there certainly is; and nobody is all-good and nobody is all-evil. It’
s an impossibility, because as I said, it’s a coin, it’s got two sides to it, and it is, really, ‘better’ and ‘worse.’ The Ultimate Good that God is,
‘my peace’ or ‘my kingdom,’ there’s no opposite, It has no opposite, so there’s total, complete Good. There’s no opposite to God, good is all
there is. It’s the reality; it’s the difference between reality and illusion.
